On April 9th, Inner Strength Education proudly participated in Get Ready, Get Set, Let’s Go—a dynamic community engagement event hosted by CADEkids and PLA-North in North Philadelphia.
This event brought together organizations from across the city to connect young people with essential resources related to mental health, wellness, recreation, and employment. We were honored to be invited to host a resource table and contribute to the atmosphere of hope, healing, and possibility.

Our team shared mindfulness tools, wellness resources, and a little creativity (yes, there were stickers!) with attendees, offering an accessible way for youth to explore self-regulation and emotional awareness. From spontaneous conversations to intentional check-ins, it was clear that the young people of Philadelphia are ready to engage with meaningful practices that support their growth.
Community engagement is at the heart of what we do—because the work doesn’t end in the classroom. Events like these show how healing and empowerment happen in shared spaces, when we connect and when mentors meet youth where they are and share tools that reflect young peoples’ strength, resilience, and aspirations.
